We apply design thinking to every project by focusing on user needs, rapid prototyping, and collaborative problem-solving. It helps us stay creative, test ideas early, and build better solutions together.
The first phase of Design Thinking takes point of departure in the involved users to understand their needs and pain points.
The second phase focuses on generating ideas and turning them into prototypes that are tested and refined with users.
The third phase focuses on testing prototypes with users and implementing the best solutions to ensure real-world impact.
The last phase finalizes implementation, launches the solution, and ensures continuous improvement through feedback and iteration.
Empathizing With the User
In the "Empathize" phase of Design Thinking, we focus on understanding the project from every angle - user needs, client goals, business objectives, and processes. We don’t just observe, we put ourselves in the end-user’s shoes to truly grasp their behaviors, motivations, and aspirations.
Defining the Opportunity
In the "Define" phase of Design Thinking, we analyze the insights from the "Empathize" phase to pinpoint the user's core needs. From this, we create a clear, positively framed "How Might We" question, which guides the next steps of ideation and prototyping. This question turns challenges into opportunities, inspiring creative, solution-oriented thinking.
Ideating Creative Solutions
In the "Ideate" phase of Design Thinking, we generate a wide range of ideas to answer the "How Might We" question. This phase encourages unconventional thinking, using techniques like brainstorming and mind mapping to explore all possible solutions. The goal is to push beyond the obvious and foster creativity.
Prototyping Solutions
In the "Prototype" phase, we turn ideas into tangible models that can be tested and refined. Whether it's a simple sketch or a more detailed mock-up, prototypes allow us to quickly bring concepts to life at minimal cost. This enables us to gather feedback and test if the solution truly meets user needs.
Testing for Success
In the "Test" phase, we gather user feedback by evaluating the prototype against their needs and expectations. Through usability testing, interviews, and observations, we assess how well the solution works. Feedback helps us refine the prototype, ensuring that it meets user needs before implementing the solution.
Implementing the Solution
The "Implement" phase is where we finalize and launch the solution. Based on insights from testing, we refine the design, develop the final product, and ensure a seamless user experience as it’s rolled out to users.
Staging in the Real World
The "Stage" phase tests the solution in a real-world environment to gather valuable insights for further adjustments. This phase helps us evaluate the solution’s usability, impact, and overall value before full-scale deployment.
Going Live
In the "Go Live" phase, we move the solution into production after successful staging. We ensure solution owners have the resources needed to maintain and scale the solution, setting clear expectations for its future growth and potential feature developments.
